Your relationship with people is a reflection of your kind of relationship with God, thus, how you deal with God is just the same with how you deal with people, even yourself. Hi, I was just remembering how that in the Autumn of 1976, Carter Boyd preached a revival with the Fire of the Holy Spirit that touched my heart. I gave my life to Jesus and was baptized a couple weeks later in the McClure River, man it was Cold!!! My Grandpa Welford Ring attended there many years and he is my role model still today, although I never could fill his shoes. I still miss him dearly. May the Fires of Revival burn brightly in Dickenson County and Clinchco! Dave

I grew up in Clinchco and attended this church with my parents Warren and Iona Salyer. We moved to the Gate City/Kingsport area when I was 19. It is good to know the church is still working for the Lord.

I asked to have your chuch pray for my nephew a few days ago and I want to thank you for helping us pray. He had the signs and symptoms of a heart attack at Norton hospital. They med-flighted him out to J.C.M.C. and found nothing wrong with his heart. I know that God honored our prayers and healed him. He came home yesterday with nothing found. Thank you to all my brothers and sisters in the Lord. I love you all!

Howdy Folks. I was on the internet looking around for different pages that relate to home. I came across the churches website. Subby you have done a wonderful job. I loved seeing everyone's photos and miss all of you dearly. I would love to see each and every one of you again. I attend church every opportunity the Lord affords to me and am married to a preacher!!! We worship with a small church in Alabama of about 45 people. I teach Sunday school and assist yearly at a local Christian Camp called Rustic Youth Camp. I wouldn't be where I am today without the encouragement and love of all of at Clinchco. Your in my heart always and I love you.

I can remember visiting Clinchco Freewill Baptist many times as a young boy. We attended and were members of Tarpoon Freewill but heard many sermons in Clinchco...especially at revival times and special services. Our family moved to Clintwood in 1964 and later moved our church membership to Valley View Freewill Baptist. I left Clintwood in 1967 and have not returned other than for visits. My parents were Bernard and Wanda Rakes and are both deceased now. I have lived in Roanoke since 1971 and belong to Plesant Hill Baptist Church.
